Munich, 22 November 2023 – Liberta Partners, a Munich-based private equity firm, announces the closing of its third fund. Liberta Partners has raised a total of EUR 75 million in equity. The fund target was reached in a short period of time with an oversubscription of capital commitments. The investors are primarily family offices, a large German corporate foundation and private individuals.
Liberta Partners continues to focus on company successions and carve-outs in the DACH region with revenues of EUR 10 to 250 million and operational development potential. Liberta Partners is industry independent. However, business models, sectors and end markets with growth prospects are a prerequisite.
As in the past, investment decisions are based on the entrepreneurial development potential of the companies. The aim is to acquire six to eight companies and develop them with the active support of Liberta Partners. In addition to organisational development and operational excellence, the focus will be on digitalisation and organic growth initiatives. The new fund will also focus more on buy-and-build as a value driver.
Liberta Partners has grown to over 20 employees and has expanded its team as it closes its third fund. Liberta Partners has strengthened both its investment and corporate development teams with experienced team members.
